Flagship return to First Aid Training and are ‘Covid-Secure’

Flagship return to First Aid training and are ‘Covid-secure’

When lockdown was enforced by the British Government Flagship had to stop all classroom training.  This included all First Aid Training, Mental Health in the Workplace training and our Driver CPC Training too.

We are fortunate because we have a suite of online training courses.  These are all fully certificated, approved and CPD accredited.  These have been extremely popular as employers have looked to online training and on demand learning solutions for their team.  This enables them to stay engaged whilst on Furlough or working from home.

As lockdown is now being lifted we are pleased to confirm we are moving back in to training.  We have taken action to ensure we can keep you safe in our training classroom based in Peterborough.

Covid Secure Actions include;

-introduced 2m distancing
-PPE for all delegates
-First Aid delegates will receive their own bandage and dressing kit.
-increased access to hand washing facilities
-amended ways of working to ensure physical distancing is observed
-temperature checking
-paperless documents via smart devices
-thorough cleaning process of our training centre and equipment
-reduced capacity in each classroom

We are very pleased to reassure that you and your delegates will have all practicable measures in place to support the safe implementation of classroom First Aid Training with Flagship.

We also wanted to make it clear that we will also need to increase our prices and explain why this is.

Flagship Price Increase due to Covid

Flagship’s vision has meant we have always endeavoured to deliver the highest quality training experience at accessible pricing.  However the result of these new measures to ensure safety come at a very real impact to our business.

Impact to our business include;

-reduce capacity from 12 people to 4 people in our training room

-increased cost of PPE and cleaning process for delegates and instructor

-increased cost of Student Learning Kits (we were previously able to reuse our bandages and equipment).

This means that we will now need to increase our prices too, which means that we will be able to sustain our business and our quality of service to you our valued partner.

New pricing from June onwards;

Emergency First Aid at Work will increase to £105 +vat per person

First Aid at Work  3 day course will increase to £245 +vat per person

Ofsted Approved Paediatric First Aid will increase to £130 +vat per person

First Aid at Work Requalification will increase to £155 +vat per person

The increase is relative to £30 per person per course.  We still believe this pricing represents absolutely fantastic value for money and includes factoring a 200% reduction of capacity and substantially increased costs per person due to PPE and all our other Covid-Secure measures.

For ‘in house’ and day rate training please do get in touch and we can price this for you according to the capacity at your training location and will provide competitive pricing accordingly.

We really hope that business owners will understand the need for us to return to business safely.  That Covid has impacted us, as well as other businesses and as such need to ensure we can maintain the remarkable level of service and quality First Aid training experience we have always provided.

Our open courses are available from July.  If you would like to book in please do complete a Contact Form for a call back, or call us on 03300 553643 or email us on info@flagshiptraininguk.com.
